Our Story

About Our Flower Mound Painting Company

I began painting college dorms the summer after high school, 1990.   By the mid 90’s I was framing custom homes, installing baseboards and flooring, spraying texture, and of course painting.  By 2005 I had made my way into the Television and Movie business and became one of the DFW areas top Scenic Painters and Plasterers, with FOX’s Prison Break being the most popular show I worked on.

While the film industry is exciting, the work wasn’t year round and I needed something to help pay the bills in the off-season. So, in 2006 it was time to for me to start my own house painting company.  The first few years were rough.  I had little experience as a business owner and no experience with marketing.  I used to wake up at 5 AM and pass out flyers with the morning paper and wait for the phone to ring.  I worked hard, long hours.  In the evenings I worked on my website and getting ranked on the 1st page of Google.  By 2011 everything was starting to come together.  What started as something to just pay the bills, turned into my passion.   I finished working on TNT’s remake of Dallas and pursued my painting company full-time.

Today life is wonderful.  I am blessed with a beautiful wife, Monica, who runs the office and does the bookkeeping.  Combined we have 4 children ages 9 to 20.  We’ve lived in Flower Mound since 2008 and plan on running the painting business until it’s time to retire.  We do over 200 jobs a year mainly in Flower Mound, Highland Village, Lantana, and  Argyle.  Every job is extremely important to me and although I’m not doing the work anymore, I still try to be on every job to interact with the crew and customers, and insure quality and customer satisfaction.  We have over 6000 followers on Facebook and Instagram, and hundreds of positive reviews around the web, so consider having me out (or virtually) for a FREE quote.  See you soon!
